Listen to Black Sabbath on iHeartRadio

Ozzy Osbourne says he's impressed with the way guitarist Tony Iommi has handled his cancer battle.

The Black Sabbath frontman tells the Toronto Sun he'd never known anybody who survived the disease until his wife Sharon, who was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2002. Ozzy admits that to him "cancer means death," but Iommi "just accepts it and gets on with it."

The singer adds that he admires Tony for his guitar skills as well.  He says it's "amazing" how Iommi can play with prosthetic fingertips.  Iommi lost the tips of two fingers as a teenager working in a factory.

Black Sabbath is currently on tour in Canada.  The band is scheduled to perform in Los Angeles on April 26th.
