Linkin Park's 1st performance w/out Chester

Last Friday Linkin Park made their first appearance on stage since Chester Bennington's suicide on July 20th, which left a hole in the hearts of millions.  Mike Shinoda and crew decided they wanted to honor Chester by celebrating his life with a sold out 3 hour show at the Hollywood Bowl...naming it, 'Linkin Park and Friends Celebrate Life in Honor of Chester Bennington'.  As I got into rock radio in the early 2000's, Linkin Park was always a band that I loved so very much and who's words touched me so deeply.  I was completely heart broken as I heard of Chester's death and there will never be another voice as beautiful and powerful as his.  As i watched this video of the show I felt so much love from the crowd, the band and the guests which whom included; Oli Sykes of Bring Me The Horizon, Jonathan Davis of Korn, M. Shadows of Avenged Sevenfold, Blink 182 and more!  Suicide leaves such an empty space in so many lives...I know there are so many, as I too have gone through depression and have had thoughts of suicide and what we can take from this devastating loss and this beautiful tribute is that even in the darkest of days...there will be light at the end of the tunnel.  As Chester's wife, Talinda, said "Fuck Depression"! Come together, reach out...ask for help and realize that life is so short, yet a wonderful adventure! Enjoy the tribute as I did and love to you all:) ~ Ginger
