World's longest, fastest & tallest roller coaster now open in Canada!

The Yukon Striker which is the world's longest, fastest & tallest roller coaster is now open & can be found at the Canada's Wonderland theme park! It hits a top speed of 80 miles an hour, travels 3,625 feet and dives into an underwater tunnel from 245 feet in the air.

Riders go through four inversions during the three-minute, 25-second ride, as well as a 360-degree loop.

So the question is...would you go for a ride? Is this something you'll add to your bucket list or will you stay on the ground with your feet firmly planted where you feel safe to watch others horror & screams from afar? lol

I think it's safe to say both Dave & I will only experience this ride through the video we have posted here! Feel free to call me a sissy because I'm completely fine with that!:) ~ Ginger

p.s. Below is the "Rider Safety Information" we found on Canada's Wonderland website. lol sooo...sorry "big boned" folks and keep in mind "Guests must have a minimum of three functioning extremities, including one functioning arm that includes a hand". lol...ok

** Due to the nature of the restraint, this ride may not accommodate guests of a larger size. A test seat is located at the ride entrance which can be used to ensure proper fit and comfort prior to waiting in line.

Guests must have a minimum of three functioning extremities, including one functioning arm that includes a hand.

Two functioning arms are sufficient instead of three functioning extremities if the guest has a normal centre of gravity and lower extremities are sufficiently strong to maintain proper riding posture under the dynamic conditions of the ride.

Amputations must be below the knee. Guests with a cervical collar, neck brace, or broken collar bone are not permitted to ride.

Casts are not permitted on this ride.

Prosthetics are not permitted on this ride.

Alternatively, guests with certain amputations may be able to ride with the use of a separate full body harness provided the guest has remaining leg and arm remnants to be secured by the harness. Guests should check with Guest Services to determine if they are eligible to ride using the full body harness. **
