iHeartMedia is so excited to help McQuade Distributing celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Sam McQuade Sr. Budweiser Charity Softball Tournament happening this Friday, June 27th thru Sunday, June 29th!

There’s a ton of excitement & ways to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the softball tournament including the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales that will be making several appearances in the Bismarck/Mandan area!

If you think it’s easy to become one of the world-famous Clydesdales…think again! Clydesdales for the Budweiser hitch need to be at least three years old, stand approximately 18 hands (6 feet) at the shoulder, weigh an average of 2,000 pounds, be bay in color, have four white legs, and have a blaze of white on the face with a black mane and tail! They also have to have a gentle temperament as they meet millions of people every year!

Every traveling hitch also has a Dalmatian, since the dog was bred and trained to protect the horses and guard the wagon while the driver was inside, making a delivery!

Thursday, June 26th:

-Open to the public – 10am to 5pm – Bismarck Event Center – Lot A

-1 horse show – 2pm to 4pm – Buffalo Wild Wings South Bismarck location – Parking Lot - ** (Ginger G will be live on location for this event) **

Friday, June 27th:

-Open to the public – 10am to 5pm – Bismarck Event Center – Lot A

-Full Hitch driving to Clem Kelly Softball Complex – 5pm to 7pm – Diamond #8 for tournament’s Opening Ceremony

Saturday, June 28th:

-Open to the public – 10am to 5pm – Bismarck Event Center – Lot A

-1 Horse Show – 2:30pm to 4:30pm – Stage Stop Liquor – Parking Lot - ** (Ginger G will be live on location for this event) **

Sunday, June 29th:

-Open to the public – 11am to 3pm – Bismarck Event Center – Lot A

-Full Hitch at Clem Kelly Softball Complex - 4pm to 6pm - Closing Ceremony of the Sam McQuade Sr. Budweiser Charity Softball Tournament
