Labor Day Poll: America's Most Loved Condiment Isn't Ketchup or Mustard
Â
Labor Day weekend marks the unofficial end of summer, so a lot of us are firing up the grill one last time.
 Â
A new poll just in time for it looked at the most loved condiments in America. And the one we love the MOST isn't ketchup or mustard.
 Â
They asked 7,000 people about the four big ones you'd most likely be putting on your hot dog or burger:  ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, and relish. And the one we "love" the most is MAYONNAISE.
 Â
30% of Americans love mayo . . . 29% love ketchup . . . 25% love mustard . . . and just 13% of us love relish.
 Â
If you include people who just "like" them, then ketchup reigns supreme. 85% of us like or love ketchup . . . mayo, 80% . . . mustard, 78% . . . and relish, 58%.
 Â
Relish is most hated of the group. Around one in seven people (14%) can't stand it. Only 4% of us hate ketchup, but it's a passionate 4%.  (Many of those folks are in the Chicago area.)
